Badminton Tournament
The Badminton Group of Lesbian & Gay Sport Regio Basel invites you to the annual Fun Tournament!
We are expecting around 100 players from all around Europe and are looking forward to welcoming you this year.
Doubles and mixed teams are competing in a Swiss-System round, like this all participants will have many and most competitive matches.
Games are being played with yellow plastic shuttles, which are provided by us.
We will hand out many medals and there will be a lottery for some badminton goodies sponsored by Flypower.
You will be provided with a lunch bag and we organise a social dinner for you in the evening.
We can offer a limited amount of free accomodation with our members. Please contact our organisation-team if you wish to stay with a private host.

Tournament starts: 11:00 am
Tournament ends: ca. 17.30 pm
Participation fee: CHF / EUR 35.– per Person
Please transfer before 18th April 2019.
Fee for payment on arrival: CHF / EUR 5.–
The number of participants is limited.

Swiss System
Every team plays the same amount of matches. After every round, the teams will be ranked according to their wins/losses.
The games will be drawn so that every encounter will be teams with a similar score. Every pairing can only be played once.
Like this, you will have a fair tournament and a maximum of exciting matches.
Social
We will provide you food and drinks during the tournament day. Additional drinks can be bought at the bar upstairs.
A dinner will be organised near the sportshall. If the weather is nice, we have the possibility to sit outside.
Service charge for dinner: CHF / EUR 30.–
Also, we will have a party for those who are not tired yet. More information will follow here, soon.

Für das kommende Turnier sind Anmeldungen im Dezember wieder möglich.

Sporthalle
Das Turnier findet in der Pfaffenholz-Sporthalle statt. Der Bau von Herzog & de Meuron befindet sich am Rande von Basel auf französischem Boden. Bitte nehmt deshalb einen Ausweis mit.

Abendessen
Das Abendessen mit vegatrischen Speisen und Fleisch findet an einem zentralen Ort in Basel statt.
Eine gute Gelegenheit, sich mit Anderen über Eure Heldentaten des Tages zu unterhalten.
Der Ort des Abendessens steht noch nicht fest. Wir werden Euch hier und per E-Mail auf dem Laufenden halten.
Party
Die offizielle Jahresparty des Lesbian & Gay Sport Basel findet am gleichen Wochendende wie unser Turnier statt. Feiert mir uns und Leuten aus den anderen Sportbereichen bis in die späte Nacht!
Der Veranstaltungsort der Party steht noch nicht fest.
